AI TOOLS · PRODUCT OPERATIONS · TEAM LEADERSHIP

I design and build tools for complicated work.

I’m Adam Rojas. My career has spanned technical web systems, cloud product release, quote-to-order configuration, portfolio operations, and people leadership at Sun Microsystems and Oracle. More recently, I’ve built AI-assisted tools and helped teams decide where they improve the work.

HOW I APPROACH THE WORK

Understand what a process is meant to achieve. Listen to the people doing the work and observe it in practice. Simplify or remove what gets in the way, build where a tool helps, and refine through real use.

01 / SELECTED WORK

Tools and systems I’ve helped build.

My own applications are linked below. I describe Oracle work without exposing its internal systems.

PERSONAL PRODUCT · DESIGN TOOLS

Icon Studio

I built a browser-based icon maker for product and internal tool teams. Start with a library icon or add your own, then layer badges and text, set a background, adjust colors and layout, and export SVG or PNG. Teams can make matching icons for related tools without hand-editing SVG files.

PRODUCT OPERATIONS · DELIVERY

Portfolio and delivery visibility

Built a planning and roadmapping layer over Jira for 600+ epics across 13 business areas, including data centers, go-to-market, quote-to-order, and IT support. It connected work across separate team boards, combining weighted prioritization with capacity and dependency views.

From executive portfolio reviews to individual stories, teams could see priorities, status, blockers, and who to contact. They could review and update work through a clearer interface while Jira remained the source of truth, reducing the need to trace issues manually or arrange meetings just to find a status.

CLOUD PRODUCTS · QUOTING

Quote-to-order configuration

Joined the founding team for Oracle’s internal CPQ Cloud rollout and served as lead configuration designer for the pilot. I then led the team that expanded and maintained the cloud product models, supporting roughly 60 models at peak. Built reusable configuration blueprints and release practices that translated product, pricing, and go-to-market needs into a quoting experience sales teams could use.

INTERNAL TOOLS · PRODUCT DATA

Part and product data

Built search and mapping tools that helped teams connect legacy parts to Oracle’s product catalog during acquisitions, including MICROS into Retail and Hospitality and Cerner into Oracle Health. They made product information easier to reconcile and use during operational integration.

The product-data search application served about 600 users and tens of thousands of monthly page views, with daily CPQ synchronization supporting quoting and sales.

INTERNAL AI ENABLEMENT

AI adoption and new ways of working

I helped scrum masters, developers, and product owners across a roughly 1,000-person DevSecOps organization find practical ways to work with AI through prompt coaching, examples, and reusable skills. My skill-creation workflows incorporated company security policies and best practices. I presented GPT and skill workflows to 1,000+ live attendees within a broader organization of roughly 3,000.

My requirements-writing GPT was used by 200+ employees. I also shared six reusable AI skills internally, with 800+ combined downloads in 2026.

Resplendent Resume Builder & AI Slop Mop

I build and publish writing tools for people to use in ChatGPT and Codex. Resplendent Resume Builder develops career materials from evidence, checking claims and improving role fit. AI Slop Mop applies editorial judgment to drafts, preserving the author’s voice while improving clarity, structure, and numerical precision.

02 / EXPERIENCE

Product work from launch to daily use.

I’ve worked across cloud go-to-market, deal management, quote-to-order configuration, product release, M&A integration, technical web systems, and AI adoption. Those roles required close work with sales, product, engineering, and the people using the systems.

03 / CREATIVE & TECHNICAL PROJECTS

A creative side, with technical depth.

Local AI systems, community software, digital art, and physical making. Different interests, with the same attention to how things work and how people use them.

01
AI SYSTEMS · LOCAL EXPERIMENTS

Personal AI stack

I’ve followed generative AI since the GPT-3 era. I run local models and build workflows with Hermes Agent, OpenCode, and Pi. I’ve also set up AnythingLLM and Open WebUI, and built Cline workflows. The stack supports coding, retrieval, and workflow experiments; prototype applications stay private.

OPEN SOURCE · GAME MODDING

Star Wars: A Cosmos Divided

Contribute to a volunteer Cosmoteer mod team across features, compatibility, releases, and player feedback. Across four related mods, our team’s work had 68,000+ combined Steam Workshop subscriptions, 2,700+ favorites, and 69+ community awards in a September 2026 snapshot. These are combined item totals; they do not represent unique players.

I also build Python desktop tools for the modding community. EasyGridLocations turns part layout and configuration into visual editing, with game-ready rules output. Cosmoteer Image Destroyer creates damaged texture variants using configurable holes, scorch marks, and debris.

Wally is my Cosmoteer Discord assistant. It can search the mod’s code and cite source files when answering questions.

PHOTOSHOP · IMAGE & VIDEO WORKFLOWS

Digital art, images, and video

I work in Photoshop with a pen tablet, restore and upscale photographs, and build local image workflows in ComfyUI and Stable Diffusion WebUI using models such as SD 1.5, SDXL, and FLUX. I train character LoRAs and work across text-to-image, image-to-image, and image-to-video pipelines, including Wan, LTX Video, and MiniMax Hailuo. The gallery includes generated portraits, a hand-painted composite, and my own drone photography.

04
FABRICATION · PHYSICAL MAKING

3D printing and prop finishing

I print and finish Star Wars props using FDM printers with PLA, ABS, and PETG, as well as resin printers. The Han Solo blaster comparison below shows a prop I made beside the film prop reference.
